Nomad 6 Week Challenge
How it works:
20th May - 30th June
There will be 3 tasks to complete per day:
Workout of the day
Diet tracking
Habit of the week
You will be added to a private WhatsApp group where everyone is encouraged to share motivation, inspiration and support.
Every night, the WOD (workout of the day) will be posted on the app to be completed the following day.
You get 1 point for doing the WOD, 1 point for tracking your calories on MyFitnessPal and 1 point for completing your daily habit.
At the end of the 6 weeks, the points will be added up and there will be prizes for first, second and third place.
Testimonial from a previous champion:
At the start of the Nomad Trainer 6-week summer bootcamp I felt so deflated and unmotivated to do any exercise, I’d gained 4kg during lockdown 3.0, I just really lost any enthusiasm to be active.
Throughout the challenge the varied WODs (Workout Of the Day) and community spirit from being part of a Facebook based team has spurred me to push myself further than ever before. Going from completing lunges with 20kg to 45kg and nearly shaving a minute off my 25 burpees for time shows that this process works! There’s always that WOD that you dread, but knowing everyone else is doing it too means I just couldn’t not complete them all, my inner ‘Monica’ just wouldn’t let that happen.
The nutritional guidance has been a real life saver. I’ve got my portion sizes back under control and reminded myself that considering macros and planning ahead (as much as is realistic) is the key to success!
After completing my 4th bootcamp, I’ve never felt stronger or more capable of being able to achieve my goals, and I hope that the continuation of the programme past this point will help with keeping the discipline to maintain this level for as long as possible. Thanks Matt (and the rest of the 6 Week Summer 2021 Bootcamp) for getting me back on track!!”
